Spymaster should have a leaderboard.
A leaderboard would be nice, where I could see top spymasters on one side and my chosen competition on the other.H

Inappropriate?@brad: That is a great idea and is something we are definitely considering.
-
Inappropriate? That might be somewhat a difficult thing to do, though I'm not completely sure. Given that the fights here are a game of chance, it'd be a very flexible sort of board, you know? Always changing. Though the ones with the biggest spyrings/income/etc would be neat to see.
I’m indifferent

Inappropriate?@Floxley: Your suggestion about "the ones with the biggest spyrings/income/etc" is a good one. I assume that if we do adopt this idea, it will be very similar to what you have suggested, is there would be less fluctuation among the top.

Inappropriate?I'm not sure I like this idea. I think it helps paint an even bigger target on your back. The list of worthy targets already gives you one batch of people to attack.
My main concern is that the way assaults are won/lost and rewarded/deducted still is a little troubling. The strange math is definitely curbing many of our own desires to play more.
I’m concerned

Inappropriate?I expect there to be many things taken into consideration before any work begins on this. Moreover, a lot of people have expressed their confusion with the assassination probability, something else for us to look at.
-
Inappropriate? As a spy, I don't like this idea. Perhaps if there is a leaderboard, we could invest resources to make ourselves "disappear" or at least be anonymous when it comes from ranking.
I’m thinking it's better off being anon!
-
Inappropriate?Ted, you got point... :) But there has to be some way that we can show the leaderboard like encryption of some sorts or purchase of information :)
I’m excited

Inappropriate?I think what I'm getting at is a way to socialize the competition with your connections and with the larger eco-system. I want to see if I'm beating my boss at work, for instance. I want to see who's complete the most assassinations.
Frankly, the overall leaders could be anonymous. It would still give you a sense of your overall number, for instance, on any number of values you could tab.
But wouldn't it be better if they weren't? That way there would be a big target on their (or your?) back, and thus more glory for the ones that stay up.
I’m intrigued that people don't like this idea.

Inappropriate?I like the idea of socializing your ranking among friends and even competitors in the game. However, in the spirit of a spy game, it is my belief that your very best spy would be incognito.
That said, there could be a whole separate game element around infiltration and espionage to expose top ranking spy masters. Now wouldn't that be cool!
I’m waiting to break through the level 30 ceiling
-
hmm.. on further reflection, maybe you earn a nickname with your real identity hidden on the leaderboards. "Lewey the Stump" level 50 spymaster - and then have a separate game play element of espionage to reveal the real player name...
