Terms of Service
Do you think we should have some "Terms of Service" on the game? I think it would be a good idea to know the things we can and can't do, and the things that could make us be banned. =)

The Directorate's Legal Division is working on a true Terms of Use.
For now, we reserve the right to ban a user for any cause without warning. These are the reasons we have used in all bannings to date. Our anticheat systems pay specific attention to these types of abuse.
1. Automating any gameplay.
Scripts that automate doing tasks, assassinations, retaliations, or any other such automation of gameplay are not allowed in Spymaster.
2. Exploiting in-game bugs or sabotage of other user accounts.
Hacking and exploitation of the Spymaster game or servers in any form is cause for a permanent ban. Many involved in the Swiss Banking crisis were banned for this reason. Hacking and exploitation may also be criminal.
3. Collusion between multiple accounts for a single user.
A single player may not maintain multiple accounts that collude against one another; for example, using multiple accounts to circumvent energy limits, to automate tasks to generate revenue for a single user, et cetera are illegal gameplay and cause for termination. One may not maintain botnets or any other sort of collusion where more than one account is maintained by one player.
A player may maintain multiple accounts that do not communicate with one another, are not in the same clan and do not follow each other. You cannot use multiple accounts as a resource multiplier.
4. Anything that violated Twitter's Terms of Use.
Threatening or abusive behaviour is not tolerated. Please read Twitter's Terms of Use.
5. Selling Spymaster in-game items or currency for real-world gain.
A Spymaster player cannot sell spymaster currency, items, accounts or other in-game resources for real-world profit.

Inappropriate?Okay. It's a bit post-facto though. I want to retire one spy as it clogs up my real world twitter space ...
May we have a grace period on this?
I’m amused

Inappropriate?I'm actually shocked at the automation restriction. If we don't automate our tasks, we end up just being a bunch of monkeys clicking buttons every 5 minutes, which is a pretty lame game experience. I can't see any self respecting spy lowering himself to be a button drone.
A more fun way to play is to think of your strategy, set up automation, check back and alter your strategy to buy new items, assassinate people, etc as you advance.
It's obvious that many people are doing this. I've seen some people jump multiple levels (and I mean top levels, 35-36-37) in a period of a couple of days. This could only happen if they are automating task/assassinations to get ahead while they work/sleep.
I was expecting automation to come into the game as a tool that you could buy, like "train a recruit" or 'buy an assistant".
This game is about strategy, not button pushing. That's what didn't draw me in about mob140--there's too much you can do and you end up pushing too many buttons. I just want to make a strategy and make it work, let it ride out and check on it periodically.
I can't reason why that would be sabotage. If it's an issue of server load, just add more restrictions--like maybe you can only run 20 tasks per day or something. I just think it's a bit crazy to put the burden of game play restriction on the user (especially hidden away here on this feedback site) rather than to build your own safeguards.
Anyway, that's my two cents.

Inappropriate? How do you suggest people in a position like me, who started to play the game with my main Twitter account but then opted to start another one because of the spamming tendencies of players of the game. (I didn't want to mix work and play)
Do I just lose the money from my first account? Also, I am trying to advance my first account (sidburgess) so that I can report about the higher levels on the blog. I am not concerned with that reason though as much as the first one. Suggestions? Can you facilitate a one time transfer of funds to another account for those who want to move their game?
Peace... well, sort of.
I’m content

Inappropriate?Where does one send a report of cheating ? , being a cautions chappie, don't want to tip my hand by making it public.
