What The Heck? Why do I always get wounded (Even when I attack)?
I never win a battle. When I attack someone, even if all my specs are greater than theirs, I lose. When some other guy attacks me, I lose again. I always get wounded no matter what (even if I bought a safe house). Why does this happen?

Inappropriate? You guys might need to increase the amount of spymasters in your network. This could greatly increase the chances of you winning.
-
Inappropriate?I had some 42 Spymasters and my friend had some 13.. I had almost 1,000+ attack & 500 + defense than her. She was level 3. I was on 6. I attacked her for testing and I lost! :(
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?The game is a great deal of chance. Not to mention there are a lot of people out there with hundreds/thousands of followers/followed. Being well equipped is always a good idea, so take a look at how many are in your ring-and then how many of each weapon and defense item you have. Anything to help chances sway more in your favor some. :}
I’m indifferent

Inappropriate?Plus, the game gives the weaker player than advantage when you're significantly stronger, with that being said, "Pick on someone you're own size!" That's kinda what it's like.

I'm sorry but that's a poor cop out. I got attacked by this guy that is a lot weaker than me on every level (and I mean A LOT, including the number of spy masters). I didn't attack him. He wounded me 3 times in a row and "stole" 3 armoured cars from me (700000 worth) plus other stuff. Does that seem fair to you? Sure removes all the fun of playing for me... Your battle algorithms are screwed. -
Oh, sorry I just checked closer. The first guy attacked me twice. The third attack was from another guy that's even weaker. he has less followers than I have spymasters... How do you explain that he was able to get £243.03K from me including an armored car? That doesn't make any sense whatsoever. -
@Stephane I Know... It's against all Common Sense. It's like me beating Tiger Woods in golf. (I haven't ever even seen a golf stick!) -
Stronger people should be able to kill weaker people. You should even have an assassination job board, but there should be some kind of way to balance it out. -
Inappropriate?Oh... So that's what it's all about!
I'd rather say, pick on someone double your size! :)
I’m satisfied

Inappropriate?Upside/Downside. It seems that if you attack someone way out of your league, you probably wont win but then again, if you're broke, the down side is very little. NB my other post. This is odd and strange. The weak have build in protection.
This means, I get to attack stronger people until I win without any fear at all. This is a very strange behavior and should not be encouraged. And even when you do win, it's still a big crap shoot.
I'm not sure what this is mirroring. Not the real world. Not games I've played. Sure, you want to model in chance to a degree but this violates must rules of engagement not to mention more gaming rules.
Having worked in the MIC, I'd say that if the real world were like this, we'd be in a constant state of war. No consequences at all. I know you don't have the computer power to do any serous modeling but at least you could make it semi-serious rather than just strange. Even random would be better than this. Sorry, folks, this is a big bummer.
I’m confused

Well mark, the way the assassination rebalancing was meant to do was shield the lower level people. I believe the beginning post in this thread was a few days before the rebalance if not very close to it.
As for losing a lot of money, you should keep most of your money in the bank so that this risk of losing the money is minimized. Also, try targeting the people at medium risk, the outcomes are greater at that risk level (you'll receive more money, and potentially more items and therefore overall assets)
There are times when a high risk person would seem like a good pay off, But what do you mean by it being a "huge crap shoot". When i beat someone higher level than me I seem to get more items, money, and experience.
