sURL Lookup (simplified for developers)
Just an FYI, I added a method of doing a simple and quick lookup for my sURL service some time ago. To do this via your API, use the following;
http://surl.co.uk/vurllookup.asp?sid={ID}
For example;
http://surl.co.uk/vurllookup.asp?sid=...
This will return only the long URL associated with it, in plain text (no HTML so no parsing required)
http://surl.co.uk/vurllookup.asp?sid={ID}
For example;
http://surl.co.uk/vurllookup.asp?sid=...
This will return only the long URL associated with it, in plain text (no HTML so no parsing required)

Inappropriate?Cool! That's always a good thing to provide.
LongURL actually doesn't use APIs anymore to determine where a short URL redirects to. It doesn't use HTML parsing either. Instead it examines response headers and looks for the "Location: ..." header. Thanks for sharing though!
