DSL DOWN IN KSA

kim, technical problems are always happening one way or another, ur question should be whats being done to fix the problem or prevent it from happening again in the future, its a known fact that dsl in saudi sucks,,and it does suck really bad, in which area are u in anyways? what district in ksa?

Last June 30,2009 we had upgraded our services from Afaq DSL into Afaq DSL Shamil. We thought before the problem of unstable internet connection was on AWALNET and we believe somehow STC wanted to monopolize also the ISP aside from DSL service. So, we have decided to upgrade our connection in depending that internet services will improve but the situations got worsen than having a DSL service with STC. Since the day we have upgraded our connection we have continuously having unstable connection or repeated dropping of internet which is contradicted to their promotion of "SMOOTH INTERNET SERVICE". We doubt the smooth internet service seem to be rough with Afaq DSL Shamil.

We hope STC can address and resolve this issue since internet connection is part of our daily lives in able for us to connect to our family from another country......
