Getting a pop up message after a restart using QuickPull Pro.
After Quickpull restarts my device, a pop up message appears stating that a QP module has been added or removed. This is a little annoying since I have the pro version. I have removed and reinstalled the app, and even wiped my Storm2 to reload, and am still getting the message.

I’m

Hi there. This message is common on phones running newer builds of OS5. Although the message refers to QuickPull modules, it is actually a RIM/BlackBerry system message. QuickPull essentially "tricks" the phone into thinking power was lost to initiate the reboot, and somewhere in the process the OS thinks Quickpull modules were moved. At this time there is nothing we can do about the message but it is possible we will find a way to work around it on OS6. Thank you for using Steelthorn Software and I apologize for the inconvenience. -

ok. So this looks like is answers my question then. When I upgrade to Quick Pull Pro, I will no longer have those "Your device has been reset" pop ups, right?

Depends on the message. My message is about Quickpull modules being added or removed. These are caused from the newer OS 5 builds by RIM. If your message is an ad, then yes. Upgrading to pro will get rid of these messages. I am running the latest 5.0 official build on my Storm2. 5.0.713 and still get the module updated pop up messages with Quickpull Pro 4.04.

This is correct. Updating to QuickPull Pro will remove all advertisements, but on OS 5 certain system pop-ups will remain for the time being. We hope to resolve this issue for QuickPull on OS version 6.
