Hardware issue??

I have a BB Curve (8330) and upgraded to OS v4.5. The edocrab app installed without a problem, but I'm getting an error that says, "Sorry, your device does not meet the hardware requirements for scanning barcodes." What gives? I thought I was all set! What a buzzkill, dude!

Hi there,

Only certain BlackBerry models support have the right kind of camera which supports barcode scanning. You can check out more here at our FAQs:

You can still technically manually enter a UPC and use the rest of the app that way, however. We are still investigating all our options here so not all hope is lost my friend. :)

I'm going mark this "Solved" since there is no other solution currently.
