How do I remove Auto Standby???
I was running Auto Standby on my Blackberry Bold 9000 until it began giving me frequent messages that it was Entering Auto Standby and to press the mute key even when I disabled the software I might get the message 20 times in frequent succession. I removed the Auto Standby software using the Blackberry Desktop Manager software on my computer, but this has made the problem worse. I just want to remove the software now. How do I do it?

Hi Bill,
I thought we had a FAQ on this, but apparently not! You can remove any application by going to Options > Advanced > Applications, scrolling down to the name of the app, and pressing Menu > Delete.
Also, sometimes removing the battery for a second (or using QuickPull) can help reset AutoStandby and allow it to work properly again.
