QP on Bold 9700 v5.0.0.330 hanging
I tried loading QP from App World a couple times and each time that I have run QP through manual or auto reset it starts to run and then I get the 5sec warning and nothing else happens with QP until I cancel QP.
I saw some of the comments posted on the blog about QP and you mention only ver 771 working correctly. That makes sense as I was on the phone with RIM this week for 4-5hrs this week when I found issues with me email on the BB. It turns out that they said they were getting complaints from people about multiple emails and other issues that they attempted to fix. With this version of OS 5.0 I can't even send an email to myself on my phone from my online account. Ver 771 seems to be the only version that allows you to run the OS with the fix, or the old OS style. Unfortunately it is only found on the Verizon version of the Bold 9700 and I have T-Mobile with v5.0.0.330 being the most current version at this time.
Awaiting any fixes you may have.

Hi Jeff! I'm sorry you've been having trouble with QuickPull. As of this time, QuickPull is working properly with OS v5.0.0.330 so the most likely culprit is your permissions settings. Please have a look at our Permissions FAQ (http://faq.steelthorn.com/index.php?V...) and verify that you have enabled all the necessary permissions that QuickPull requires. Please note that if your phone is on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server, some of the necessary permissions may be unavailable depending on how restrictive your company's policy is. If you have verified that you have the correct permissions enabled and are still having problems, please follow the steps in our Log File FAQ (http://faq.steelthorn.com/index.php?V...) and send us your log so that we may troubleshoot further. Thanks for using Steelthorn Software!

Hi Jeff! I understand that you tried to get the logs after reinstalling QuickPull but uninstalling the application will have cleared your original logs. If you could, please try to generate the logs right after running QuickPull as that is the only way to capture any possible errors with QuickPull in the log. If that doesn't work, please go ahead and simply send us the logs for everything right after running QuickPull and we will go from there. Thank you for your patience on this matter. -

Thanks for your reply. I went into the AppWorld and reinstalled QP Free. I then did a battery pull as stated in the FAQ page. After the phone rebooted I got the message saying that a reboot had to be done to complete the install/delete, but I was not able to make a selection. I was finally able to back out and get back to Home and start over. This time I went into QP and attempted a Reboot. Again I got the confirmation Yes/No page and after choosing Yes I got the 5sec Warning page that stalled out. I let it sit there for at least 10min with nothing else happening.
I then went into the Permissions Page and confirmed that all choices were set to ALLOW and then attempted to Reboot with QP once again, only to achieve the same results.
Next, I followed the FAQ page to copy the Log File. I listed the Logs and then chose to clear the selections in order to only choose QP. After Saving the settings there were No Logs even listed for only QP. I went back into Options and chose to list all Logs again to confirm logs were showing. So I'm not sure what I can send you since there were no logs for QP to Copy and send.
Also, I have my Bold as an individual, not on Enterprise.
Thank you, any other suggestions?
Jeff
