I have an idea for future builds of QuickPull.
Currently, I have QuickPull Beta 2 on OS 5.0.0.348 for my Bold 9000, and I always place it in my charging pod at night, which goes into bedside mode. The bedside mode part isn't a problem, but I have a password set for my device, and after 1 hour it locks.
I have QuickPull set to reset my device every morning at 5 am while I'm asleep, but it isn't able to once my phone becomes locked.
My remedy for this is to of course remove the password lock for now, but maybe you can work on getting around this in future builds? Beta 3?
Thanks!

Hey, I second that.
I just got a new 9700. I was thrilled to see the automatic feature. I set it for 3 AM. In the morning I found that it has not reset the BB because the unit was password locked. It would be great if you guys could overcome this. Many people keep their BB locked fr security reasons. Maybe the software could learn and remember the password? Thank you. -

Any update on this? I have the same problem and have been testing different things for a few months off and on.

Hello, there. We believe this is a real issue, but there's just not enough information to fix it right now. Strangely, automated password entry works 100% of the time on devices we test. It's possible that certain 3rd party applications could create interactions that cause the password injection to fail for QuickPull, but at this point we are can only speculate as we have not found any direct proof of this. If you are interested in trying to help us learn more about this issue, please follow the steps in this FAQ (http://faq.steelthorn.com/index.php?V... ) to send us your log files, but instead of hiding all types and choosing only QuickPull, please send us the entire day's contents for all applications (their boxes should all be checked/enabled). Thank you and I look forward to investigating this matter further.-
Be sure to run QuickPull right before capturing the log files so we can hopefully see any interactions with other applications that might be taking place. Thank you.

I too have the same problem with my Tour 9530. However, mine is a business phone, and we have an enterprise policy that locks the password at 15 minutes, it can't be turned off or changed.
I've watched quickpull execute, and it enters one character, and seems to hit enter, because the bb says incorrect password, then it tries again, 1 character and enter, incorrect password, etc, until all the characters in my password have been entered.
I find it hard to believe you can't replicate this problem, its happening on a lot of different phones. I like your program, and I would like to recommend it to my company, but I can't if it can't put in the password. -

Hello. We are currently working on a complete rebuild of QuickPull from the ground up for OS 5 and OS 6 phones, so support in the form of patches for current versions will be limited from now on, but what you are experiencing should not be an issue for the new QuickPull 5. Thank you for your patience as we complete the new QuickPull and I am sorry I couldn't be more helpful.-
Sounds good, I look forward to the new version!

Thank you. I have a Storm 9530 and I have the same problem. My phone is locked into an Enterprise server and is scheduled to lock when the phone is not being used for 30 minutes. At night, Quick Pull can't seem to get past it and no reset occurs.
