Not reading the bar code. I have the Blackberry Storm2. When it does read the barcode it works great but sometimes it takes a real long time and sometimes it does not read it at all. The camera is set to auto focus (close-up), superfine picture, automatic flash, image stabilizationand color effects normal.

Hello there~ Are you using OS 5? The latest version of edocrab for OS 5 will automatically set up the best settings. 1.1.0.0 is the latest version for OS 5 (you can download the latests by going to edocrab.com from your phone).
What version are you running? There is also a lot of information in the edocrab FAQs here: http://faq.edocrab.com/
This information under scanning can help a lot if you are using a version that is not OS 5.

I am using BB OS 5.0 and the latest version of edocrab 1.1.0.0.
I just tried again to scan and my BB took about 8 snapshots of the bar code and finally went through. Sometimes it works in 1-2 shots other times it does not. I have tried reading the barcode in both landscape and portrait. portrait seems to work better -
