Why do I have to "Reboot Now"?
Is there any reason why I have to push the "REBOOT NOW" button? I have it set to reset at 2:00 a.m but that doesnt help if I have to tell it to reboot now after I wake up. I have all permissions set to allow.

I’m
looking on the bright side.
Hi there,
One possible reason QuickPull is not performing a pull at your scheduled time is that your device is in "holster" mode or is locked. RIM prevents applications from running in these modes for device security. If this isn't the case for you, do you see any other messages when you wake up and see the Reboot Now dialogue box? -

Tina,
I dont see any other message, and I'm not in Holster mode. I actually had it set for 2 p.m originally (by mistake) and it did the same thing, at 2:00 it would ask if i wanted to reboot now or later. -

happy to help!
Hello there,
Are you running OS 5? If so, be sure that you have the latest version of QP which you can find here http://faq.steelthorn.com/index.php?V...
At the bottom of that page you will find instructions to make sure you have QP set up correctly.
"1. Go to Options > Applications and highlight QuickPull in the list.
2. Press Menu > "Edit Permissions".
3. Set all three categories to "Deny".
4. Menu > Save.
5. Repeat steps 1-4 but set all permissions to "Allow".
6. Do a real battery pull."
The screen pops up to give you the option to cancel a QP, but if you don't press anything the device will continue to reboot. :)
Have a great weekend!
Thanks,
Kara -
