Streamy encountered an error and must be reloaded. We apologize for any inconvenience.
I broke my streamy. The last actions that I took were:
Imported my Google Reader - still worked after this
Removed Digg - Still worked after this
Attempted to add digg again, using my username
Clicked on the home page - here, all the feeds appeared to be loading and timing out
Signed out of streamy
Received two notifications that my digg account could not be added
Signed out
Attempted to sign back in and received the error message
Deleted cookies and cache
Still receiving the error message
Streamy states that I am logged in, but after clicking on continue is when I receive the error message. I am using Google Chrome and Windows XP SP2.
I didn't mean to break it. :(

Inappropriate?I just broke my streamy again.
Last actions:
Read my subscriptions feed
Clicked on each individual subscription in order to mark as read
Tool tip for subscriptions now reads '-2 items'
Clicked on streamy homepage
Items were not loading
tested all of my other streams - none were loading
signed out
signed back in
receive error originally reported
Is the digg integration a factor in this?
I’m indifferent
-
Inappropriate? This is happening to me every 3-5 minutes or so ever since I opened the account earlier and started browsing the site, making it unusable at the moment.
It happens mostly when I click on a story title and am reading it within Streamy.
I am on the latest Firefox and XP.
It would be great if there is a fix to this since the site seems to be great.
And Keldwud, I didn't even touch the digg integration option or any other integration for that matter. It's sort of impossible to do with this error happening so often... -
Inappropriate?I think this error happens no matter what you do in Streamy. I just leave the page idle, and it will error. haha...
Maybe it has to do with the maintenance of some sort they were doing earlier today? -
Inappropriate?I'm writing it off as maintenance, too. Each time this happened, it was for less than a couple hours. Next time it happens I can assume that it was just maintenance since each time, the error has been the same and affected multiple users.
I’m confident

Inappropriate?Darn it. Streamy is down again :(
This is happening to me once and sometimes twice a day. I really hope that they can scale well, because this is an awesome service but it does not seem to be scaling all that well. :(
I’m disappointed
-
Inappropriate?Aha. Have the same issue. Was thinking it was something to do with my email I sent, but now get the feeling it is system problem...official response would be nice...
I’m confused
-
Inappropriate? My guess is that they are just dealing with some scaling issues. Techcrunch caused an unexpected surge of users is what I think possibly happened.
I’m unsure
-
Inappropriate?Down again.
I think maybe if I keep track of the times that it happens, I can figure out a schedule so that I know ahead of time when it's going to be down?
I’m anxious
-
Inappropriate?I've found out that this problem does not occur for me when using Chrome. I get this error within minutes of using Streamy when I'm using Firefox. Didn't test with Explorer and other browsers though.
-
Inappropriate?I get this error on Safari and Firefox from my home network and my work network on both OSX and Windows XP. Haven't been able to get on for three days now. I'm beginning to take it personally.
-
Inappropriate? It just comes up every few minutes regardless of what you are doing. A fix would be very nice! And also an official response!
I’m frustrated
-
Yeah; I just started experiencing this randomly again, recently. My workaround is to just close and re-open but it does appear occasionally throughout the day. -
For me, it craps out when I am in the middle of reading a blog post which is a bit annoying. Am just clicking through to the original blog links now. -
Inappropriate?Sorry to say this is super cumbersome and rather annoying. Sadly I'm going to have to go back to Google Reader until there's a fix or at least a response about this.
I’m sad
-
It seems to be ok on my Mac rather than the PC, but who knows! I've decided to use 'AlertThingy' for now. Pretty cool app! I would still like to use streamy when they get the kinks sorted out and add more services.
