Vipre let in PE_VURIT.LJ. Even after re-installing Windows, the PC got re-infected. Looking at Symantec, TrendMicro, McAfee, and Kapersky web sites, they are all aware of this trojan and already have solutions in place. Why didn't Vipre prevent this infection in the first place and why doesn't it clean it now that I have it?
Counter Spy has detected 'Trojan.TDSServ'. I have asked that it be removed. It states that it has, but when another scan is run, the same trojan shows up. What do I do?
I'm running Vipre to clean UPS Trojan, Its installed but while it does run and remove some items, the spyware background and spyware behavior still occurs. Any suggestions on how to get rid of this pest?
I'm having trouble with my yahoo email account. every time I open the inbox it goes to a different screen that says it was unable to contact ad.yieldmanager.com. Now, understanding that this is an undesireable spyware program, I did some searching and found spyhunter was recommended. I downloaded the trial, and it reported over 340 infections. Over 200 of which were zlob, which it ranks as a high threat. But their trial doesn't clean, it only scans. So I installed the Vipre home trial, with the intent to buy it like I did at work, but when I ran vipre it only found about 60 infections, and no mention of zlob trojan at all. So, where do I go from here assuming I would like to make Vipre my defense of choice?
