Can not Uninstall CounterSpy v2
I installed CounterSpy V2 free trial version several months ago, maybee last year. I have been trying to uninstall it completely without any luck. There is no uninstall option in the Program folder and it does NOT show up under control panel/remove programs. Its causing me lots of problems because it always starts on comp startup which hangs the computer and also slows the computer down. I tried installing CounterSpy again thinking I can then uninstall but it won't install a new version either. I just want to get rid of everything CounterSpy from my computer. Thanks

Inappropriate?Is there a change option in the control panel? If there is, click that and it should let you uninstall Counterspy.

I'm having the same problem as SPUD. There is no Change or Remove option in the Control Panel/Add/Remove Programs. I downloaded and ran the CSC2.5.1043.exe file and Windows came back with an error message saying that the file is not a valid Win32 application. My version of CounterSpy is 2.5.1040,,,,is there a different version of the installer program for that version of CounterSpy? I also tried running the original version of the install program that I received when I bought the product...it said that a newer version of the program is installed, and then quit. -

Inappropriate?I got rid of some of the files and programs but not all. It doesn't even show on my control panel anymore. Only when I run "search" through my hard drive for anything with Sunbelt or counterspy does it show it's face. It keeps saying that it's being used by another program. I deleted it because I didn't use it( I even took the time to answer your questionaire) If this is how it is with a trial version I'm glad I didn't pay for it. Enough already!!
