Inappropriate?I have the same problem. I spend hours on a dialup downloading the update, and get a failure message. this has happened for about a week. Very frustrating. It isn't my ISP. Other data was sent and received without a problem.
As of now, I have no anti virus program. Apparently my old definitions were deleted in the process. Right now I am a very dissatisfied customer.

This can happen if the download to the upgrade is impartial and/or corrupted. A simple solution to this problem would be to uninstall the old version from the Windows add/remove programs and reinstall. Please use one of the links below to download the correct application.
