can't run counterspy anymore
my scan on counterspy keeps stopping about 5 min. into scan. it also can't download the updated definition file.

1. Open CounterSpy and click on the ‘View’ menu.
2. Choose ‘Settings’ and then click the ‘General’ button.
3. Under Scan Display options, choose the option that says ‘Display the progress bar with the progress text. Custom scans will display the animation.’
4. Please run another scan with CounterSpy and when the scan gets stuck, Letme know the file name or registry key that it is getting stuck at.
For the updates, what happens when you try to update? Do you get an error? -

I'll try to re-scan and let you know the details. On the updates, it will tell me it has to shut down as well.

Inappropriate?Scan Service has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. You chose to end the nonresponsive program, Sunbelt CounterSpy. here is where it stopped on the scan:

Inappropriate?I apologize for the trouble that you are encountering with CounterSpy. I think it would be best to do a clean install.
Go to: Start menu/Control Panel/Add or Remove Program and Uninstall CounterSpy.
Then, go to Start Menu/My Computer. C:/Program Files/Sunbelt Software. Delete the CounterSpy folder.
