Can't update VIPRE: Error 2738
Vipre wants to upgrade. When I click Now then give it permission to proceed, it returns Error 2738 "Could not access VBScript run time for custom action." Please advise.

It sounds like vbscript is not registered on your system for some reason. Please click the Start button>All Programs>Accessories>Command Prompt (If you're using Vista you'll need to right click Command Prompt and click Run As Administrator).
In the Command Prompt window type "regsvr32 vbscript.dll" without quotes and press Enter. You should be able to install the update now.
