Clear Connection Manager (WiMax) won't work with SPF
SPF decided to eat itself and was throwing lots of errors and keeping the laptop from starting. Finally was able to uninstall and reinstall SPF and had no issues except with the Clear Connection Manager that wont give me an IP address if SPF is enabled. If I disable it it will give an IP address and connect to the Clear network. Once that is done I can enable the firewall and work without issues.

Thank you for contacting technical support.
Please open the Personal Firewall by double clicking on its icon down by the time clock.
Next click the Network Security button and check and see if the application you’re looking for is in that list. If it is, you can change it’s settings by clicking right on top of the “deny” or “ask” icon, go ahead and set it to permit if it’s a trusted program. In this case, you will need to allow “Clear Connection Manager."
If the program you’re trying to allow a connection to isn’t on the list, go to the end of the list and you will find, “Any other program” - set the settings to “Ask” in all four columns. If a program isn’t on the list and it and tries to connect, you will get a pop-up window asking for your approval.
The Personal Firewall should now be functioning normally.
