counterspy as antivirus protection?
does counterspy 2 remove viruses? the site says that you shouldn't renew subscriptions to mcaffee or symantec, that you can buy the VIPRE anti-virus when it is available. how long until this is available? what if my subscription runs out on symantec before VIPRE is available?

Inappropriate?CounterSpy will only remove Spyware. Our anti-virus product VIPRE should be out soon. We just sent it in to get certified so we are hoping for the end of the month. Whenever the certification process is complete.
