Definitions update errors
I get an error message when downloading updated definitions. I have 2.5.1043, with def version 699. I have Windows XP with all critical updates. What to do?

I can't tell exact wording. I've restarted the download process, and it is currently downloading from definition 699 to 860. Maybe it will work this time. -
Inappropriate?The most common error we see is "Unable to merge definitions" Clearing out your temporary internet files then downloading the full definitions normally will correct this.
