Does SPF need windows firewall service?
I've got Windows Firewall turned off, but I noticed that the Windows Firewall Service is still running. It is set for automatic. Does SPF need this service to run, or can I disable it? I have Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit.

Inappropriate?No Windows Firewall is actually not needed to run our firewall. You can go ahead and turn it off. Just make sure Our is running afterwards though to make sure you stay protected.
