email protection on desktops: Attachment blocking
Evaluating VIPRE Enterprise. Mail client Outlook 2007 with Exchange 2003
With 'Email protection on desktops' enabled i am unable to send an attachment from outlook. Is there a way to alter this? I need to have Outlook messages and attachments scanned but also have to be able to send attachments.
Are there more settings available per policy or is it simply on or off?
Thanks
Paul

Inappropriate? This topic is the closest match I could find. My problem is that when friends send me an attachment to my Hotmail account, I get the following error when I click to open the attachment:
If I disable SPF it works fine. I tried most of the solutions found here, but still can't get this to work without disabling the entire firewall. (And most times I will forget to re-inable SPF).
Any Ideas?

Inappropriate? Was experiencing this same issue, and was told by a support tech on Monday that this is a known issue. The error had been submitted to development and repair work had been started.
