I keep getting a message for Vipre that I have new software to download. I am given the choice to download now or later. Everytime I click on now I get an error message. How do I get rid of this download?

It sounds like you just had a bad download of the file. The easiest way to solve the problem is to download the latest version of VIPRE here:

You'll want to shutdown VIPRE while running the update installer.
