Error Reading Setup Initialisation File (VIPRE v3.1.2416) XP SP2+
Vipre prompts for user to upgrade (currently I am running v.3.1.2416) - New software has been downloaded when shall we install ...etc - follow prompts to install upgrade - this shuts down existing runtime - followed by the following error - "Error reading setup initialisation file" <ok>.
I manually restart current version of Vipre and the prompt process come up - Instead of answering NOW to the install upgrade prompt I choose upgrade LATER.
This situation can not be left to go on for ever - I have un-installed and re-installled - same results. This problem started with the major release some 10 - 15 days ago.
What can be done to resolve this...?

I’m sorry to hear that you’ve been having problems installing the upgrade to Vipre. “Error reading setup initialization file,” this is a problem of the downloaded file being corrupt.
