Features I'd like to see.
I'd like to be able to pause CounterSpy during a scan, and also see a progress bar if possible, or at least a report of the number of files scanned. One can't bring up the interface while a scan is in progress.

Thanks for the post! There is a pause feature and progress bar, but only if it is a manual scan which you initiated. The scheduled scans, on the other hand, do NOT have this option available.
