Games disabled
Rebooted PC and Viper disalbed valid games that have been installed. Any suggestions on how to restore these games?

Inappropriate?I believe this was a false positive in yesterdays definitions. If you update to definitions 2222, it should be fixed. If you have anything in Quarantine or your Always Blocked lists, make sure you remove it.
You can find the Quarantine and Always Blocked lists under View > Manage Malware.

Inappropriate?Hi Jason,
Thanks for your assistance. I did as you asked, and upgraded the version to 2223 (I guess I missed 2222). This, however, did not resolve my problem. The games (5 of them) still will not open/play. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
Thank You,
JD
I’m still frustrated

Inappropriate?JD,
Try turning Active Protection off, Let me know if you have the same problem afterward.

Inappropriate? If nothing is in your quarantine or blocked list and AP is turned off, nothing in VIPRE should be blocking those games from opening. Try shutting down VIPRE completely and let me know the result.
Thanks,

Inappropriate?Hi Jason,
I double checked, and there is nothing in the quarantine or blocked list areas. I did turn Viper off, and even rebooted the PC. Still no games. I do believe that the games have been disabled rather than being blocked. The games are all from 'Big Fish Games', and their icons have changed from the original game icons to those white/blue icons that you get when the PC cannot find the path. I did also re-install the games, and they still do not work. Could Viper have removed a file that the game needs to play?
Thanks for your help,
JD
I’m glad that someone cares.

Inappropriate? If VIPRE is completely shutdown, it will not auto block anything. The only thing that would continue to block those games is if VIPRE had quarantined those game files previously. However, reinstalling the games should have replaced those files.
Try uninstalling VIPRE, then reinstall the games, make sure they are working correctly, then reinstall VIPRE. If you get any popups from VIPRE regarding those games, then allow them. If you are still experiencing the same problem after reinstallling VIPRE, let me know.
Also, check "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sunbelt\Antimalware\Quarantine." If you see anything listed there, delete it.
