Huston - Do I have a problem?
The Kerio Personal Firewall SOMETIMES does not load on startup
I have checked and it is present in the c:\documents and Settings\All users \start menus\programmes.
Can anyone tell me what processes I should see in task manager if it is running. If MANUALLY load the app, I see three which look to be linked, trhey are :-
kpf4gui.exe (appears 2x once with my user name and once with username system.
kpf4ss.exe
I have checked the Knowledgebase and have implemented the fix suggested there
I get NO warining from windows that my system is at risk
Any help appreciated

Inappropriate? Thanks for posting. This was a problem seen in our previous version of the firewall. We have since then corrected this issue in our most recent version. Use the link below to download and upgrade to Sunbelt Personal Firewall 4.6.1839.

Thanks Jason, I have done as you suggested and will see if this does resolve the issue or not.
I had checked for updates (using KPF) and noted that it was "uptodate". So this raises another question, namely why is KPF not updating automatically, or manually when an update check is forced by the user? -
Inappropriate?Certain versions, depending on how far behind you were, would not upgrade over eachother depending on how much and what exactly was changed. However the more recent versions 4.6+ should upgrade fine.
