I would like a refund for VIPRE and Firewall
After installing VIPRE, I found that my photography programs (Picture Window Pro and ACDSee Pro) were both very sluggish in many actions -- the programs were not usefull. I even uninstalled and reinstalled Picture Window without success. I shut down VIPRE and firewall and both worked much faster, as did the rest on my machine. I reinstalled my Norton Security 2008, and everything remains running well. So I would like a refund for your products. Here is info from my email:

Inappropriate?That is strange Norton slowed my machine way down and Vipre doesn't slow it down at all.

Inappropriate?He probably didn't use the Norton removal tool and the parts of Norton left on the computer slowed down Vipre. I had a similar problem and it cleared up when I used the Norton removal tool available from Norton. Have been using Vipre since it came out and Sunbelt Personal Firewall shortly after Sunbelt Software bought Kerio and had CounterSpy installed and have only had one problem in each that was quickly fixed when reported.

Inappropriate?I've been running VIPRE for over 6 months as well as having installed it on a lot of my clients PC's and networks. It has run flawless! By far the best on the market. You may have had some other security software causing interference or some other software that didn't like it. I would really reconsider VIPRE. Maybe try out the free demo on another PC. I will never use anything but VIPRE again. It has caught more infections that all of the others have totally missed. It it incredible how there can be such a program that has such a tiny footprint on the system. Mine runs a full system scan and I don't even notice it. Remarkable!
