Laptop's using Vipre Enterprise having problem updating defintions via internet.
We are using Vipre Enterprise agent version 3.1.2744. We are having problems getting defintion updates on the laptops when they are off the LAN & have an internet connection. Unless we are connected to the internet for hours we never recieve definition updates.. We have the "Download via the internet if local updates unavailable" checked in the agent policy.

Inappropriate?Check the power management tab of your policy if the power save mode is enabled. The laptop will not run scheduled scans or update while on battery power. As soon as you plug into ac power the laptop should return to scanning and updating as scheduled by the policy. Please let me know if this helps.
