many pc problems since installing SPF
Since installing SPF, I am unable to use javascript, windows media player does not work, nothing comes up in system restore (it is a blank page) and napster does not work (related to media player). With your help, I have un-installed SPF, but these problems remain. Need your help to straighten out my PC!

With the firewall uninstalled there's nothing that SPF would be doing to continue to block those items.

Inappropriate?I had a similar problem, I could no longer listen to internet radio. And, as with many a firewall, being no computer freak I was kind of overwhelmed by some of the numerous decisions I was asked to take. I did not know where to disable the ask mode and switch to automatic mode (I'm sure there is one because I was asked during installation to decide between ask and automatic mode). Well, I uninstalled the firewall and continued with the Windows firewall, it is simple enough for me to use and does not interfere with my standard applications and sites. If Vipre, which seems to work fine, does a good job and keeps malware from my computer, I am not too worried about the deficiencies and 1-way nature of the Windows firewall.
