My definitions file will not merge after downloading, what to do?
What do I need to do to fix this?

Thanks for posting.
First, let's restart CounterSpy.
To do this right-click on the CounterSpy icon, by your system clock.
Choose "ShutDown".
Now try to open CounterSpy again from your desktop shortcut or from the Start menu.
Afterwards, we'll need to correct the definitions merging problem.
First, clear out your temporary internet files.
Do this by opening the internet explorer, Click on the word "tools" then "Internet options" When this window opens, choose delete files.
Then, open CounterSpy, click on "File" then "Download full definitions"
This should correct the problem.
