Network printer won't print.
I am having problems getting a network printer working. From one PC works fine. From another doesn't want to know.
I have a small home network consisting of several PCs and a network Brother HL-2070N printer.
I can print from one PC ‘A’ but not the other ‘B’.
If I disable the SPF on B I can print ok.
I can ping the printers IP address from both printers and they both return fine.
I have exported the settings from SPF on A and imported them on B. But B still cannot print.

Inappropriate?Thank you for your post!
The following settings need to be made in order to allow file and print sharing for your home network.
Under network security, select the predefined tab and hit "Set to defaults".
Next select the trusted area and make sure that local area connection has a checkmark in it.
Then under applications set "Microsoft file and printer sharing" to permit for both in and out under trusted.
I’m confident

Inappropriate?Hi Jacob,
Thanks for the fast response. The issue was the "Microsoft file and printer sharing" entry. The trusted in option was set to ask... but for some reason it wasn't asking!!! When I set this to permit it all started working. Is the 'non' asking a bug?
For your information setting the local area connection has a check mark in it makes no difference I can print with it checked or unchecked.
Once again thanks.

Inappropriate?Nick,
It's possible that there had previously been a rule created to deny the connection. You may have accidentally denied the connection previously. Setting it to permit gets around that problem. -
Inappropriate? The system had been set to default user not advanced. I only switched to advance when I was informed that people couldn't print from that machine.
Anyway.. its all resolved. Thanks for that.
I’m ok
