Ninja Email security fails to install
We have newly installed a Windows Server 2003 R2 and a
Exchange SP1. Then we tried to install your Ninja Email
Security. During the installation process when the CMD window
pops up, there is showing up a kind of Login screen where i
have to enter an account who has the rights for impersonating
calls for web services. When I enter a account who has the
rights to do it, then I get an error message something like
Group name cannot be found. I have checked the Service
Account who has the account several times, but I always get
the same error. This Login Screen is nowhere documentated in
your user manual, also not in your support knowledge base.
What could be the reason for this ? How to solve this issue?

Inappropriate?Make sure you use the format domain\user. It is recommended that you create a new user for this account and set the password to never expire. A basic user will be fine. The installer will assign all necessary permission to the user.

Inappropriate?Still doesn't work. Still get the error "unhandeled exception" and "groupname cannot be found". I'm running Exchange 2007 SP1, i forgot to tell and is all in a x64 environment.
Here is the exception text. "Gruppename" means group name. German error text.

just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

Inappropriate?Try creating a user group named "administrators". It appears that the Ninja installer is trying to check this group which is probably named something else in your OS version.
I see that you also have a support ticket open with us. If what I suggested above does not work. Please let the technician you are working with know so that we can get it escalated to Tier 2.

Inappropriate? The group name "administrators" worked, but after all clear and "nearly" installed then i get another error message : "Error 1720. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A script required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact Support ..... Custom Action SetFolderPremissions script error -2146233087, msc ...
I opened here a requests as well as a the ticket, so that maybe also other users can see a solution to my error. It seems that Ninja Email Security is not designed for multilanguage (or different than english) server environments.

Inappropriate?Create a user named "NETWORK SERVICE" and then try again.
If this works it's very important that you give the real network service account full control over the Ninja install folder.

Inappropriate?I have logged both of these as bugs. This will be fixed in a future version of Ninja.
