Problem: Computers disable CounterSpy active protection at start-up.
My computers do not start CounterSpy v2.0 with the active protection enabled. I turn it on while the computers are on, then upon restarting them, I find active protection disabled. I want the computers to always startup with it active. One computer is XP SP2, the other is Vista 64-bit SP1.

Inappropriate?Thank you for posting.
We have just released CounterSpy version 3, which fixes some issues with previous versions. I suggest you download and upgrade to v3 and see how that works out for you.

I am running Version 3 and have 32 days remaining on one of my CSpy
licenses . SInce two days ago, it behaves as if it was disabled at boot and as if my license has expired, it will NOT scan, it will NOT update. The OVERVIEW window shows ACTIVE PROTECTION is disabled but the Edit Settings - Active Protection tab shows ENABLE ACTIVE PROTECTION is checked. -
Inappropriate?Do you have any other security program installed? It sounds like something is conflicting either on the installation, or something blocking the service from starting.
Please contact our support department and we will have someone work one-on-one with you to resolve this. Reference ticket number, 001-00-236311.
