Recurring trojan infections gregstar heur
I keep getting recurring infections of trojans gregstar and heur, even after Vipre says it removed them. It seems like it should run a boot time scan so they don't keep loading through the registry at startup, but it doesn't. Any suggestions?

Inappropriate?Dan,
I see you had a ticket already open with Peter. To assist you in removing the threats on your systems we'll need to collect the logs he requested. I'd suggest just going through the process of collecting those logs so one of our malware specialists can assist you in the removal of these threats.
If I'm mistaken please let me know. -
Inappropriate? You're correct, but he didn't request logs yet. What is the process I use to get the logs and upload them?

Inappropriate?Hello Dan, I am the tech the ticket is assigned to. I had sent you the email around 5:30 EST, if you have not gotten it yet check your spam or bulk mail folder to make sure it has not been blocked by accident.
Here are the steps in case you still cant find the email.
First, open VIPRE by double clicking on the VIPRE icon in the System tray (Down by the time on your computer)
Click on the word “Help” then “About”
Then click on the button labeled “Support tools” then “Run Diagnostics”
Make sure that all the boxes are checked and click “ok”
Once this starts, it will take a couple minutes while the utility gathers information. It will create a file on your desktop called “Sunbelt VIPRE Antivirus + Antispyware Diagnostics.rar”
After that file appears, run the following utility.
http://www.sunbelt-software.com/suppo...
You will be asked for your support ticket number, Which is 284254.
Attach this log to a email sent to support@sunbeltsoftware.com and put the ticket number 284254 in the subject line.
Now, please go to the following site and follow the instructions for obtaining a HijackThis log for us. Please attach this log to your reply email, also.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
