Risk definitions update has been cancelled
I updated to VIPRE Trial from my (expired) CounterSpy, but now VIPRE won't update. Says "cancelled because your registration has expired" when I click on 'Check for Updates'

Inappropriate?Hey Rocketmouse,
Try uninstalling/reinstalling Vipre from Windows add/remove programs. This should remove any remnants of the previous CounterSpy that may be causing this error.
If you continue to experience any more problems please feel free to contact our support team at support@sunbelt-software.com or by Phone at 1-877-673-1153 M-F 9am-6pm EST and we will have someone work directly with you.

Thanks Tim! Telephone support sent me some cleanup programs as well and VIPRE is now scanning. So far, so good. It might be a good idea to tell people to remove CounterSpy first... I thought I was upgrading from it, and so had to keep it. -
Inappropriate?Hi Robi,
You can do the same. Use these instructions to help.
1. Click on the Start menu and click on “Control Panel”
2. Double-click “Add or Remove” Programs
3. Find “Sunbelt CounterSpy” in the list and click on it
4. Choose “Change” or "remove"(if shown), and the uninstall will begin.
4. Restart your computer
Afterward, install the appropriate product.
