Can't seem to do a deep scan. I am on a trial subscription. Can't update definitions either. I don't know if is worth the effort to resolve this problem. Thought I would try.

Do you have any other security software installed on the system?
What security software have you previously had installed? Many anti-virus programs will not uninstall properly, leaving files on the system that can cause conflicts with other security software installed on the system.
