Send and Receive not working with Outlook 2003 + Vipre + iTunes
I'm having difficulties (read: does not work at all) sending and receiving email in outlook 2003 after installing iTunes. I spoke with apple technical support and they said that it seems there is a problem with the Vipre email protection and the iTunes com add-in. I have tried disabling the iTunes com addin but I was still not able to send or receive email. Only after uninstalling iTunes and all the related software was I able to send and receive mail again. The techs at apple said that they had never seen this issue before and after scouring the web it seems that Vipre is the only common denominator as there are no other references to not being able to send and receive email with outlook 2003 and itunes other than the Vipre software that I have installed.
I am able to send and receive just fine without Vipre installed on this system so I believe the issue is related to the software but you guys are the brainiacs behind the machine so maybe you know something that I don't
I am running a windows vista machine and I tried installing the latest version of iTunes as of today. Any insight you guys have into the issue would be greatly appreciated.

Inappropriate?B6, We have run into an issue with the Itunes plugin before, but in every case disabling it works. Try and re-install Itunes on that machine again ,and disable the itunes com-addin and see if the same problem results. It could have been an error with it not getting removed correctly
