Since using VIPRE Enterprise some systems having STOP Errors
Normally I do not like to complain via a forum, but after I reported, what I believe is a pretty serious problem, 2.5 weeks ago and getting no significant response from Sunbelt Support my frustration is significant.
I am running VIPRE Enterprise on all our servers (about 100 physical and virtual) plus some PC's and every since about 10 servers, plus my own Vista box have crashed at least once with STOP Errors (system bluescreens and reboots). Before using VIPRE the number of STOP errors was "0".
After sending the obligatory log files the only response I got was from Support was 'I do not see any stop errors in the log file, can you send a screenshot of the error.'
Really??
I understand that this type of problem that is not consistent across the board is difficult, but given the fact that there have been other significants issue with the VIPRE Agent (like those related to HF4) I would think that I would get a more prompt response and support.
BTW. The problem persist even after running the Agent including HF4, which I reported.
Overall I like the product, although different Agent updates do not always give a stable experience (like 100% CPU load during deep scans) and make the product look like another 'bloatware' product, event though during the evaluation of the product it did show a small resource footprint.
Before reporting the problem, I spend 4 weeks trying to find communality between the systems that may explain why some servers crash and other do not, but was unable to.
So I was wondering whether I am the only VIPRE user with this problem? Anyone?
I will also post this on the new Support Forum.

Inappropriate?Henk,
Thank you for your post, I apologize for the issue you have experienced with Vipre. I located your ticket and will have the tech assigned to you case contact you as soon as possible. We will need some log files from the agent and the server and the dump files from the crashes to accurately trouble shoot this issue. I will be giving him direction on what to gather and we will get this resolved for you.
Again i apologize for the probelm you are having.
Thanks,
