Software Kills My System
I installed CounterSpy and my system became so slow that it would not run any programs.
I have un-installed it and re-installed it twice with the same results.
Why is this happening???? I'm running Vista Ultimate with 4Gb or RAM.
If it won't work I want my money back......!!!!!!!!!!

Inappropriate?Thank you for posting and I'm sorry for the problems you are experiencing.
Do you happen to have any other security programs running on your computer in conjunction with CounterSpy. It sounds like you may have more than one running, which can cause computer show downs. If you do, try disabling them or just the active monitoring portion of them, and see if everything clears up.

Inappropriate?JasonL I would have to say you have taken the easy exit to the problem. In short it like saying I have no idea but its the users faults. I have a system running 4gig ram vista ult sp1 x64 on a quad core extreme 3ghz cpu. Whether this app is the first i install or the last app i install the performance of the system drops like a dog, its hopeless, never had this issue with version 2 and it looks like that is what i wil have to go back to or maybe you guys will give me a refund????? for what left of my 2 year license i bought a little while ago.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate? If you would like you can send us your system information and we can take a look at what is causing this. Running more than one Active Monitoring is a cause for majority of these problems.
