Some active protection disabled !!
Hi Guys.
My current VIPRE version is 3.1.2315.
All protection is enabled with the exception of "Check files when they are opened or copied". I have disabled this as it noticeably slows my PC.
With this disabled, what threats is my PC open to ??

I saw you had another post where it was suggested that you upgrade to VIPRE version 3.1.2416. This problem was addressed with this new build as well. If you continue to experience this same problem with the new build, please let us know.

Do you have any other program running real time protection? If so, try turning off the active monitoring portion of the program and see if things clear up.

Yep. you are correct.
I have downloaded and installed version 3.1.2416.
I downloaded, installed it and replaced the definitions folder with the current definitions folder I previously saved, as I have detailed elsewhere in this forum; so as to not run a long definitions update.
This version now has very minimal effect on my computer speed.
It is a definite fix for me..
VIPRE is best, forget the rest. Thank you.
