Inappropriate?Hello Toddharr, try these steps to see if you can get it to allow second life online correctly.
1. Open The Personal Firewall
2. Click Network Security tab
3. Find 'Any other application'
4. Click once on deny under trusted in to change it to ask.
5. Click once on deny under the internet in to change it to ask.
This will ensure that you will be prompted when any new application needs to download something from the internet. When you are prompted for action, it is best to click 'create a rule for this action.' This will create a rule for the application and you will not be prompted anymore.
