Sunbelt Personal Firewall - cannot browse local workgroup.
I have installed Sunbelt Personal Firewall on my PC network at home, and now none of the PCs can browse the local workgroup. I have added the subnet/mask and selected as trusted - but still can't browse the local workgroup. Any ideas?

Inappropriate?I'll answer my question :)
There were 3 PCs on the network - two were set up in "Advanced" mode, the other was in the default mode. All 3 had the network tmask set correctly as trusted, but the workgroup wasn't visible on any of the PCs.
I had to change the firewall settings for the PC set in default mode to change "any other application" in Trusted Area from "In > deny" (default) to "In > ask".
Then the workgroup magically was accessible again... (This PC must have been the Browser Master..?)

Inappropriate?Hi Crobin,
Thanks for posting and answering your own question :)
If another user is having this same problem and Crobin's fix doesn't work right away, I have a list os a few more things you can try.
Here are the suggestions for getting a home network working with Kerio installed. You can either take each recommendation one at a time and see if they work for you, or follow each recommendation and once you have done them all, see if your home network works again. It is usually a combination of these suggestions that will get your home network working again with Kerio installed.
Under Network Security, Under Applications, make sure you have Any Other Applications set to ask for both Trusted and Internet in, and permit for both Trusted and Internet out.
Also under Network security, under applications, make sure Windows File and Printer Sharing Trustin In and Trusted Out are set to Permit.
Under Predefined, do you have Other ICMP packets set to permit for trusted and Internet? How about Broadcast under that section too? Those need to be set to permit. Under the trusted area tab, make sure you have a check mark in all of the available options. Under Advanced tab, make sure you have Gateway Mode enabled. -
Inappropriate?I have the same trouble. This morning I made step 1 and 2, and it shows the workgroup in the 3 Pcs. But after all day work, switching users, and applications, now I can not see workgroup in any of the 3, make all the steps again in all Pcs, but not authorization to see workgroup message keep pop.. I am frustrated, with my second day probe for Sunbelt firewall.
