Update is like Mud

It takes nearly 5 minutes to download and apply daily updates to CounterSpy. I am also finding that trying to do anything else during this process is akin to walking through mud: slow and sloppy. Why does the update process take so long? Are there any plans to revamp the process, add an extra server to facilitate the process? Thanks!

Hi WillS,

Thanks for posting. What you can do is change the update time to a more convenient time for you. You can do this by following my instructions below.

Open CounterSpy,
Go to View-->Settings,
Then, in the "Update Service" settings, change the update time to your liking, and click SAVE.

We are always looking to improve CounterSpy and it's defnitions,and CounterSpy 3 and Vipre will both reflect those changes upon its release.
