Upgrade Problems with Subscription Status

I recently upgraded my version of Counterspy, I believe it was 1 or 2 months ago. I had problems and was helped by a technician. Since then, Counterspy does not always run updates (part of my old problem) and today, it tells me that I am expired - not so! My subscription shouldn't run out until October! When cking "About", it says "free version expired" - this is wrong as I paid last October. Please advise on what to do, of if it is better if I ask for help in another place?
