Vipre saying files suspicious, firewall blocking stuff, making internet slow
Sunbelt firewall and vipre are blocking tons of programs. Vipre keeps popping up that files are suspicious and whether to block or allow. Does it all the time when i'am on the internet. Firewall blocks websites on the net. Have read the users guide and cannot figure it out. please help.......

Did you install the firewall in advanced mode? Also, what level is Vipre's active protection set to? Its possible that these settings could be causing the problems.1 Comment

I don't think i installed in advance mode. The active protection is set to Medium (the recommended). I sent the list of the files that Vipre has viewed as suspicious. It says files like C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download then each has a whole bunch of numbers are suspicious. The firewall wouldn't let me sign in to one of my student accounts, it kept reporting a error message, it was like it was not letting the information get sent to the site. -
