Vipre will not initialize
I installed Vipre on two pc's so far. Both are running XP Pro with Svc Pk 2. It's working fine on one. On the other, it kept shutting down. I uninstalled and re-installed, now it won't initialize at all. I keep getting the message: sbamui.exe - Application Error. "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000022)" . Didn't have any such problem when I was running Counterspy with NOD32 Antivirus.

Inappropriate?Been trying to add Vipre for 2 hours and so far all I have succeeded in doing is erasing CounterSpy and losing the registration number for Vipre - Great day in the neighborhood - at least I see I am not the only one having a bad day!

Joseph, would you try to un-install and then re-install VIPRE on the computer that is having this issue? -

Yes, please try the reinstall again. This time disable NOD32 while installing. Nod may have been blocking a script during the install.
Vipre and NOD32 both have real time protection features. running more them both at the same time can cause conflicts. this may also be part of the problem. You should disable one of the active (real time) protections. -
Inappropriate?OK. I'll try reinstalling again, but NOD32 wouldn't have caused the problem. I, of course, uninstalled it, and Counterspy, before attempting to install Vipre.
