Vipre won't update my risk definitions
I'm running Vista Home Premium on a new laptop. On returning home from a trip Vipre refused to update "because my registration has expired". However, my subscription has 9 months to go. I downloaded a clean version of Vipre, uninstalled, reinstalled, and now the setup wizard won't finish. When I put in my registration key, I am advised that my proxy settings may be wrong, but I'm not using a proxy server.
Could this have something to do with travelling and using internet hotspots? Could they have introduced a new variable somehow.
Anyway, I am completely naked (antivirus-wise) at the moment so a speedy reply would be appreciated. I have already waited 24 hours for a reply from support@....
Thanks.

Inappropriate?Hello Rob, I do apologize for the confusion. It may be that your VIPRE Registration key needs to be re-set. Please email me at onlineshop@sunbeltsoftware with the email address you used to place the order and I will be happy to investigate.

Inappropriate?Hello Rob, It may also be a problem with the configuration of Vipre, on the proxy settings page, did you check the box saying you used a proxy, or did you leave it empty?
