When Counterspy is downloading and installing updates my system comes to a halt for anything else. I do not need a product that makes my system unusable for 3-5 minutes at a time and cannot share resources in a reasonable manner.

Inappropriate?This is due to the architecture in CounterSpy 2.5, sometimes updates can take some time. This is fixed in version 3, which is shipping at the end of July.1 Comment

This is good news! Updates seem to take forever to download. (in spite of me having a fast broadband connection). My last download speed - (updating to database version 856) -averaged only 37 kb/sec. Could you advise the most recent date when can we expect version 3 to be released? Many Thanks. -
